The Royal Wimbledon Trophy (Surrey County Golf Order of Merit Event)
Men's Open Amateur Scratch Meeting
Sunday 24th August 2025

Entry Conditions:

• Scratch Medal competition in accordance with the Rules of Golf and any Royal Wimbledon Local Rules as approved by R&A Rules Ltd.  Distance measuring devices permitted.
• Handicap index limit of 4.0 or below, at time of entry.
• Field limited to 45 players selected by ballot if necessary.
• Closing date for entries will be Sunday 3rd August 2025 and draw times will be sent out thereafter.
• Competitors must be present at the prize-giving to qualify for, and may only win one prize.
• Entrance fees will be refunded to entrants not selected, if a ballot is required. Refunds under other circumstances will be at the Committee’s discretion.
• Ride-on buggies only permitted on presentation of a current Medical Certificate signifying disability within the meaning of the Equality Act 2010..
• In the event of a tie for the 36-hole first prize, a sudden death medal play off will be held repeatedly over the 1st & 18th holes, all other ties will be decided by count-back over the last 18,9,6,3 holes etc
• Entry Fee to include Royal Wimbledon Breakfast Platter on arrival, rolling buffet lunch, sandwiches & cake after play and prize-giving.
• With prior notice, the above catering can be arranged for caddies or visitors at £50 per person.
• Smart-casual attire is required for visitors (denim clothing and trainers are not acceptable at any time).
• Golf attire is acceptable all day for players and caddies.
• All matters relating to this competition will be settled by the Committee, whose decision will be final.

Royal Wimbledon members will be charged to their Club accounts (£65).
